Arcade Fire have stepped in to replace The Killers at Neil Young’s annual Bridge School Benefit concert next week.

The “Human” hitmakers pulled out of their performance at the charity gig amid unconfirmed reports suggesting bassist Mark Stoermer has quit the group.

Arcade Fire will join a line-up that includes Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Tom Waits, Queens of the Stone Age, Jack Johnson and Elvis Costello.
